Consultation has concluded

We are seeking your help with this project.

Residents interested in local history and heritage are invited to use this web page to share information, stories, old photographs, old documents, records, show programmes, and other items that help to tell the story of the development of the Ulmarra and Nymboida areas (former shires). Do you have old photographs of buildings owned by your families? We would love to see them.

You might also be interested in being part of a working group to help collate the information on heritage places and items valued by the community. For further details on this please contact Deborah Wray or Gina Scheer.

Clarence Valley Council received funding from the Office of Environment and Heritage to conduct this study, with a final report due in late 2019. Council will review this project and hopes to achieve protection for more heritage items and places located in the former Ulmarra and Nymboida shire areas.
