Community consultation open day a great success

Lions Park, Yamba Playground upgrade community consultation open day was held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 onsite with a great turn out from the local community - young and old alike. There were plenty of activities for kids and their parents to do, including placing coloured dots on their favourite play equipment pieces, to the impromptu design drawing competition among the kids (and a few bigger kids/parents as well).

Council's Open Spaces representatives were on site on the day answering any questions regarding the proposed upgrade as well as providing further information on the types of equipment being displayed. They had butchers paper on tables and collated all the thoughts and ideas that were presented to them on the day.
