Consultation has concluded
Corcoran Park – a beautiful park nestled on the Clarence River - is home to some of the valley's water sports and is utilised by a number of groups in the community.
It features boat ramps and jetties and is a great location for fishing enthusiasts. Water sport activities including canoeing, swimming and yachting are popular and the barbecues and shade shelters provide a great location for private parties.
The construction of the new Grafton bridge has prompted the Clarence River Sailing Club to look for a new site, and it is considering co-locating in Corcoran Park. Council has agreed to consider the request and is seeking feedback from the community to help develop a master plan for the park with input from all users. We want to hear from you!
As a starting point, a draft plan was created in 2012. Download the Landscape Concept Plan and complete our questionnaire. Tell us what's important to you and what elements you would like to see included in the master plan design.

Hi, I would like to see some bicycle parking ie metal circles or racks as it is a popular cycling destination for locals and visitors. Also, I think the speed limit on the road coming into the park needs to be 40 kmph.

The concept plan looks good but why put a floating pontoon at the southern most ramp where there is already a perfectly good wharf and no current wharf / pontoon at the northern most ramp. The northern ramp is very popular with the smaller boats and it would help to spread the load during busy periods.
