Why? There’s less than 50 Coastal Emus remaining. So we’re collecting data on where emus are located in our landscape so we can work with local landholders and the State Government to protect and conserve this endangered species and its habitat.

*Update: Since this film was made, the speed limit on Brooms Head Road has been reduced to 80km/h and an emu-friendly fencing trial is underway.
