Aquatic Facility Strategy

Council seeks your thoughts and advice on the draft Clarence Valley Aquatic Facility Strategy.

Over 86% of the population of Clarence Valley Council live within 20 minute driving time of a public pool. Council has recently received a draft Clarence Valley Aquatic Facility Strategy. Both the study to generate the the strategy, and the draft strategy itself, investigate the conditions and operation of existing swimming pools in the Clarence Valley and the need for additional facilities in the future.

The recommended strategic direction is for Council to maximise future investment in, and subsidy of, aquatic facilitiies by providing fewer, but higher quality facilities.
